Electricity Human Resources Canada (EHRC) strengthens its commitment to fostering diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) in Canada’s electricity sector. 

Electricity Human Resources Canada (EHRC), hosted its annual flagship event, Agents of Change 2024 in Toronto. This impactful gathering brought together industry-leading speakers to showcase innovative initiatives and strategies aimed at bolstering diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) in the electricity sector. The event featured inspiring narratives of transformation and firsthand experiences shared by resilient women, Indigenous peoples, racialized individuals, persons with disabilities, members of the 2SLGBTQI+ community, and newcomers to Canada.

“EHRC recognizes diversity, equity, and inclusion as fundamental pillars of a sustainable energy economy and workforce,” states Michelle Branigan, CEO of EHRC. “Agents of Change is an open platform where industry leaders, DEI champions and those who want to be allies come together to discuss how we can, collectively create inclusive workplaces where everyone feels valued, respected, and heard.”
