my name is Raymond Dickey I’m a

mechanical engineer for Manitoba Hydro

mechanical engineer we do a lot of

different things we solve problems we

try to fix things we work at generating

stations mostly with through line

generators and anything associated with

the machinery

and the governor specifically which are

a component that controls how fast the

turbines spin which controls the

frequency of the power that goes out to

The Province there’s about 114 machines

throughout the province there’s a lot of

Governors to keep running in sync with

each other
