Electricity Now™ is a bilingual, standardized science education resource designed for Grade 9 and 10 students, developed collaboratively by EHRC and Electricity Canada and supported by leading electricity industry organizations.

How long is the program?
Electricity Now™ is designed to be taught in class over 6 – 8 weeks.

Is there a cost?
The Electricity Now™ development costs have been paid for by founding organizations and Registered Power Partners to remove the funding burden from school boards.
The Electricity Now™ implementation costs within each Power Partner service territory will be determined by the speed, scale, and scope of the desired rollout in consultation between the local Power Partner and individual school boards. The desire is to minimize costs to school boards.

What’s included in the resource?
Electricity Now™ is built on the mandated National Canadian Grade 9/10 Science Curriculum, and includes:
- 6 Modules of 2 Lessons each plus an Introductory Lesson – Total 13 Lessons
- Several applicable videos and websites to enhance learning
- Activities for academic and hands-on learners
- Teacher notes
- Student notes

What format is the program delivered in?
Electricity Now™ Is provided digitally in the teaching formats most commonly used in schools today such as Google Slides, Microsoft Office, etc.
