Electricity Human Resources Canada (EHRC) is a national, not-for-profit organization supporting Canada’s electricity and renewable energy sector through research, labour market intelligence, program delivery and workforce development initiatives. EHRC works closely with industry, government, educators and labour partners to ensure the sector has the skilled, diverse and inclusive workforce it requires.
At a pivotal moment for the sector, EHRC is seeking a Director of Marketing and Communications to lead the organization’s marketing, communications and stakeholder engagement activities during a period of significant industry growth and transformation.
Reporting to the CEO, the Director of Marketing and Communications serves as the strategic leader responsible for advancing EHRC’s brand, reputation and market presence through integrated marketing, communications, public relations, branding and stakeholder engagement initiatives.
Leading a small, high-performing team, the Director of Marketing and Communications will strengthen organizational visibility and engagement while advancing a clear and compelling organizational narrative across industry, government, labour, education and other key stakeholder groups.
The ideal candidate is a strategic and influential leader with strong marketing, communications, stakeholder engagement and brand management experience, ideally gained within a not-for-profit, association, public-interest, energy, infrastructure, workforce development or similarly complex stakeholder environment.
