Electricity Human Resources Canada (EHRC) is now accepting nominations for positions on its national Board of Directors. Established in 2005, EHRC is a national nonprofit dedicated to supporting the workforce needs of Canada’s electricity sector.

Board Positions Available

We are seeking nominations for two open positions on our 18-member Board of Directors to serve a four-year term. The board has evaluated its current skills and is seeking legal and Indigenous representation to fill these roles. Directors will join relevant subcommittees based on their expertise and development needs, providing an excellent opportunity to enhance their skills in board governance, strategy setting, and nonprofit leadership.

How to Nominate

Qualified candidates from across Canada are encouraged to apply, with a particular interest in enhancing our representation from British Columbia, Saskatchewan, Quebec or the Territories.

Nominations must be received by May 31, 2025.

Submit a nomination

All applications will be reviewed by the Governance and Nominations Committee and a recommendation provided to the board. The selected candidate will be invited to stand for election.
