Eligibility criteria:
- Must be in a Canadian post-secondary institution (both part time or full-time students are eligible) with a clear, demonstrated interest in the electricity industry and demonstrate proof of enrollment.
- Must be attending school in the 2023 – 2024 year.
- Cannot hold a scholarship or bursary from another source of greater or equal value.
- The bursaries are open to all women or those identifying as non-binary.
- Preference will be given to those that show financial need.
- Applicant must be a Canadian citizen or permanent resident.
- Applicants must submit a 500 – 750 word essay on how this bursary will help you achieve your goal of working in the electrical industry.
- Provide a letter of support or recommendation from at least one (1) of the following:
- Industry professional/professor/teacher/tutor
- Colleague/peer
- Community leader, Work supervisor or Employer
- Leader of volunteer organization
