hi I’m Lacey Elliott I’m a supervisor
here at Hydro One I supervise 18
Journeymen to go out and trim trees
every day and they’ve trim the trees or
remove the trees to keep the power on
the work that we’re doing is very
important it keeps your lights on keeps
the power but much more than that it
keeps hospitals up and running it’s not
just what keeps your iPad plugged in
every day you’re doing something new you
work with the community as you drive by
and you put people’s power back on you
see them in their Windows waving and
cheering and giving back to the
community is the ultimate goal at the
end of the day
to get where I am today you would need
to go to college and math is very
important
if you like working outside and you like
working with your hands and on different
equipment every day this job is for you
