my name is Chris barcos my job title is

regional planner and I work in Truro

Nova Scotia

my job at Nova Scotia Power is to work

with customers to find out what they

need and we try to work as a team to

come up with a plan that will work for

both of us we also work to renew the

power system so any kind of repairs or

maintenance that needs to be done we

would also design that so Math and

Science are extremely important in my

everyday role you use math every day the

whole basis of electricity is based off

of math you need to know how power works

because you’re taking power from one

spot and putting it into another spot

communication skills you have to be good

with customers you have to be able to

negotiate that kind of thing because at

the end of the day you can know all the

information in the world about

electricity but if you can’t relay the

information it’s not going to work

personally the most rewarding part of my

job is seeing a project come to fruition

and seeing that you did everything you

could in them appreciating that you did

everything you could in the end that’s

the most rewarding part
