my name is Jillian Hanstead I work as a

regulatory specialist at Synergy North

there are a lot of rules and regulations

we have to follow in our industry and my

job is to make sure that everybody

within our large organization is

following the rules and regulations to

ensure that in the end we are able to

provide Power to our customers

a lot of people within our Corporation

lean on us just because every

Department’s required to follow the

rules set out by the Ontario energy

board I love working with numbers I love

problem solving stuff is always changing

I really enjoy my co-workers we’ve

worked together for many years and if

you really like to work in accounting

and really like a financial background

this is definitely the position for you

About the Greening a Generation Program

As part of its mission to strengthen the ability of the Canadian electricity industry in meeting the current and future needs of its workforce, EHRC is committed to implementing an educational, creative, and engaging program that will help elevate renewable and non-GHG-emitting energy within the national consciousness.

Focused on engaging all Canadians, and in particular young Canadians, EHRC’s Greening a Generation project will highlight electricity’s importance in our energy sector in addition to providing a guideline as to how the electricity industry will be available to young Canadians as a vehicle to address key issues as well as we provide career opportunities in the electricity and renewable energy sector for years to come.
