I’m Garnet I’m an energy auditor and
that means I go into buildings be it
homes or commercial establishments and
advise them on how they can make
upgrades to their building to improve
their energy efficiency
I like that there’s some days where I go
out on site I’m looking at a home
speaking with people and there’s other
days where I’m like doing more planning
and project management type work
what enables me to show up in the
morning is the work that we’re doing and
the impact that it has
energy audience is exciting because of
the variety in your day-to-day and the
level of learning that you have to do to
learn about all the different systems
within a house
the industry is expanding like crazy
we’re gonna need to renovate probably
millions of homes over the next few
decades
it’s engaging there’s Limitless
possibilities it’s exciting to be a part
of
