I’m Erin Martin Toronto I’m the Director
of Business Development here at Hedgehog
Technologies and electrical engineer by
training I talk to clients every day and
identify how Professional Engineers can
help their community
the most fulfilling part about my day is
actually helping clients meet their
goals seeing a client be able to install
for example a battery and a solar and
keep their school open that brings me a
wealth of joy
Engineers invent we develop we help and
so even if you start your career doing
electrical that doesn’t mean you can’t
do mechanical later it doesn’t matter
which necessarily engineering discipline
you went into you can do more study gain
more knowledge and move into another
industry and help in a different way
within our industry we are working
towards being more inclusive and having
more diversity regardless of your gender
identity you will be contributing you
will be helping you will contribute to
the greater good
