my name is Ali hasthan and I’m a

research engineer with crawler energy

and my role as a research engineer is to

explore new ideas and new technologies

in the world of green energy I could be

exploring a new battery technology or a

new hydrogen storage technology or

mitigating the risk of icebergs in the

oceans around us

being at Growler energy we’re a small

company and just the amount of change

that we are driving I feel is very

significant for a community our project

could be life-changing it could make the

air around there easier to breathe it

could bring like Financial incentives

for the community it could bring more

jobs for the community

we’re trying to show the world that you

know Green world is possible and there

will be a time that you know we won’t

have to rely on oil or gas or stuff like

that anymore if you want to be a part of

the future this is the industry you

should be working for

About the Greening a Generation Program

As part of its mission to strengthen the ability of the Canadian electricity industry in meeting the current and future needs of its workforce, EHRC is committed to implementing an educational, creative, and engaging program that will help elevate renewable and non-GHG-emitting energy within the national consciousness.

Focused on engaging all Canadians, and in particular young Canadians, EHRC’s Greening a Generation project will highlight electricity’s importance in our energy sector in addition to providing a guideline as to how the electricity industry will be available to young Canadians as a vehicle to address key issues as well as we provide career opportunities in the electricity and renewable energy sector for years to come.
