my name is Craig McNamara I’m a senior

regulatory analyst with Atco electric

been with the company for 14 years

the policy analyst our job is to peer

into the future figure out where we

think the world is going and then almost

work backwards to kind of figure out how

we can achieve the things that we want

to do how we can overcome those barriers

I love it because we get to solve

complex problems the stuff that we get

to deal with by definition there is no

clear-cut answer it’s not routine we do

a lot of brainstorming to try to come up

with the best possible solution

people always need electricity for their

homes for their businesses it’s a really

exciting industry to be in especially

now as we’re going through this energy

transition

over time you’re able to kind of move

around and kind of build up your own

skill set so it’s a little bit of Choose

Your Own Adventure I see no end of

opportunities going forward
