my name is Aaron whiteway I’m a wind

turbine technician with intercon Canada

I’m based at a city Nova Scotia my

day-to-day tasks include doing regular

maintenance and as well as

troubleshooting and repairs to the

turbines keep them operational

you need to like working with your hands

you need like taking things apart

putting it back together understanding

how it works figuring it out maybe

bringing in a little more technical

aspect finding out why why exactly does

this have to happen this way why is this

work in this manner if you like a

challenge you know you like doing

something different every day you don’t

want to have the same task day in day

out this job’s for you you know what I

find most rewarding is at the end of the

day making these machines work you know

these machines are kind of part of the

bigger picture you know we’re trying to

be a more green Society so me playing my

part in that is what I kind of find

rewarding with this as well
