Heim street I’m a world supervisor here
at OPG I’m actually a boilermaker welder
I’ve been welding for just over 20 years
now we got new people coming in so we
got two guys now in doing our test and
once they pass that qualify as a welder
those are onboarding and they’re hired
on
eating your mask especially you got your
drawing so we’re looking at drawings
every day and a drawing is just a map of
what our job actually is a little break
it down sections kind of thing so you
need to be able to read that because you
can go perform a job next to do the job
properly
I remember it was almost five years I
didn’t see a female in the trees but now
there’s more and more honestly I get to
work with a lot of cool people and it
pays well so you get to live well
if you like working your hands and
traveling and pushing yourself and
challenging yourself I think trades is
amazing option
all right
