OTTAWA, Ontario–Electricity Human Resources Canada (EHRC) has set out a call for nominations for its 2017 EHRC Awards of Excellence. Dedicated to the electricity industry workforce, the 2017 EHRC Awards of Excellence recognises and highlights the outstanding achievements of those at the forefront of industry HR best practice and leadership.
On Wednesday, February 28, 2018, in Toronto Ontario, join Electricity Human Resources Canada (EHRC), business leaders, educators and human resource professionals for its 2017 EHRC Awards of Excellence.
Nominate those employees, teams, or leaders who are making a positive and tangible impact on their organization.
Awards are given in the following categories:
- Leader of the Year
- Emerging Leader of the Year
- Innovation in HR Practices – Educational / Training Institution Award
- Innovation in HR Practices – Employer Award
- Workplace Diversity and Inclusion Champion Award
The recipients of the awards will be announced at EHRC’s Awards of Excellence Luncheon to be held on Wednesday, February 28, 2018 from 12:00 pm – 2:00 pm., at Vantage Venues in Toronto, Ontario.
New for this year: EHRC will be doing a special presentation on the preliminary findings emerging from ERHC’s 2017 – 2022 Labour Market Information (LMI) Study for the Canadian Electricity industry. This body of research aims at providing practical insights to guide the industry’s human resources management and planning, including the most up to date issues and statistics impacting on the sector, and the subsequent implications on the skilled labour supply-demand gap.
The 2017 EHRC Awards of Excellence is a unique national event that is attended by employers, labour, education, and government representatives working for and with the sector. The aim of this event is to connect, convene and inspire the industry, and it represents an exclusive opportunity to collaborate and learn with your peers.
