En quelques mots, cela implique la r\u00e9duction ou la compensation des \u00e9missions de gaz \u00e0 effet de serre de l\u2019\u00e9conomie gr\u00e2ce \u00e0 l\u2019\u00e9lectrification, \u00e0 l\u2019efficacit\u00e9 \u00e9nerg\u00e9tique et aux technologies propres. Cet engagement, ainsi que les changements dans la composition de la main-d\u2019\u0153uvre du secteur de l\u2019\u00e9lectricit\u00e9, repr\u00e9sente une occasion unique pour les jeunes qui recherchent une carri\u00e8re motivante.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Perspectives de l\u2019industrie<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Actuellement, les secteurs de l\u2019\u00e9lectricit\u00e9 et des technologies propres sont confront\u00e9s \u00e0 d\u2019importantes difficult\u00e9s en mati\u00e8re de ressources humaines. D\u2019un point de vue macro\u00e9conomique, le faible taux de ch\u00f4mage au Canada et le nombre exceptionnellement \u00e9lev\u00e9 d\u2019emplois vacants indiquent une p\u00e9nurie de main-d\u2019\u0153uvre g\u00e9n\u00e9ralis\u00e9e. En outre, selon une recherche entreprise par <a href=\"https:\/\/ehrc.ca\/\">RHIEC<\/a>, une organisation \u00e0 but non lucratif qui travaille \u00e0 renforcer la capacit\u00e9 de l\u2019industrie canadienne de l\u2019\u00e9lectricit\u00e9 \u00e0 r\u00e9pondre aux besoins actuels et futurs de sa main-d\u2019\u0153uvre, le taux de retraite pr\u00e9pand\u00e9mique du secteur s\u2019\u00e9l\u00e8ve \u00e0 pr\u00e8s de 3\u00a0%, soit 1,5\u00a0fois la moyenne nationale pour toutes les industries. Ce chiffre a probablement augment\u00e9 en raison de la pand\u00e9mie, bien que l\u2019incidence exacte ne soit pas encore d\u00e9termin\u00e9e.<\/p>\n<p>Pour tenter de combler rapidement cette lacune, la plupart des employeur\u00b7euse\u00b7s font largement appel \u00e0 des entrepreneur\u00b7e\u00b7s externes pour s\u2019acquitter de fonctions essentielles de leur entreprise. Le recrutement suppl\u00e9mentaire se fait \u00e9galement en grande partie au sein de l\u2019industrie, par opposition \u00e0 l\u2019acc\u00e8s \u00e0 de nouveaux bassins de talents. Tous ces facteurs font du remplacement de la main-d\u2019\u0153uvre existante, tout en assurant la croissance du secteur, un d\u00e9fi de taille.<\/p>\n<p><strong>L\u2019occasion<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Les secteurs des \u00e9nergies renouvelables et des technologies propres, comme la production d\u2019\u00e9nergie solaire et \u00e9olienne, sont bien plac\u00e9s pour attirer les jeunes employ\u00e9\u00b7e\u00b7s. Les travailleur\u00b7euse\u00b7s des g\u00e9n\u00e9rations Y et Z sont particuli\u00e8rement int\u00e9ress\u00e9\u00b7e\u00b7s par les possibilit\u00e9s d\u2019emploi qu\u2019ils\u00b7elles jugent significatives et qui leur permettent de contribuer \u00e0 \u00ab\u00a0quelque chose de plus grand\u00a0\u00bb. Cependant, ces groupes ont \u00e9galement tendance \u00e0 ne pas savoir comment acc\u00e9der aux occasions qui r\u00e9pondent \u00e0 ces motivations intrins\u00e8ques.<\/p>\n<p>Une <a href=\"http:\/\/electricityhr.ca\/fr\/labour-market-intelligence\/impact-generationnel\/\">r\u00e9cente \u00e9tude de l&rsquo;information sur le march\u00e9 du travail de RHIEC<\/a> indique que la proportion de travailleur\u00b7euse\u00b7s de moins de 25 ans dans le secteur de l\u2019\u00e9lectricit\u00e9 demeure de 5 %, ce qui est inf\u00e9rieur \u00e0 la proportion au sein de la main-d\u2019\u0153uvre canadienne en g\u00e9n\u00e9ral (14 %). Parall\u00e8lement, les femmes et les personnes s\u2019identifiant \u00e0 d\u2019autres genres, les personnes en situation de handicap, les Autochtones, les nouveaux\u00b7elles arrivant\u00b7e\u00b7s au Canada, les personnes noires et les autres personnes racialis\u00e9es, ainsi que les membres de la communaut\u00e9 2SLGBTQ+ sont sous-repr\u00e9sent\u00e9\u00b7e\u00b7s dans le secteur. Ce potentiel inexploit\u00e9 renforce l\u2019id\u00e9e que l\u2019implication des jeunes g\u00e9n\u00e9rations dans le secteur, d\u2019une mani\u00e8re qui tienne compte de l\u2019\u00e9quit\u00e9, de la diversit\u00e9 et de l\u2019inclusion (\u00c9DI), est d\u2019une importance cruciale pour la r\u00e9ussite \u00e0 long terme de l\u2019industrie.<\/p>\n<p><strong>La solution<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Un grand nombre de professions dans l\u2019industrie de l\u2019\u00e9lectricit\u00e9 sont de nature technique. C\u2019est pourquoi les apprenti\u00b7e\u00b7s et les gens de m\u00e9tier en particulier font partie int\u00e9grante du succ\u00e8s futur de l\u2019industrie. Le gouvernement du Canada indique qu\u2019environ <a href=\"https:\/\/globalnews.ca\/news\/8880094\/ottawa-creating-more-apprenticeship-skilled-trades\/\">700\u2009000\u00a0travailleur\u00b7euse\u00b7s qualifi\u00e9\u00b7e\u00b7s devraient prendre leur retraite<\/a> d\u2019ici 2028. Le Forum canadien sur l\u2019apprentissage estime que pour r\u00e9pondre \u00e0 cette demande, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.canada.ca\/fr\/emploi-developpement-social\/nouvelles\/2022\/08\/le-gouvernement-du-canada-contribue-a-la-creation-dau-moins-5200postes-dapprentis-dans-le-canada-atlantique.html\">75\u2009000\u00a0apprenti\u00b7e\u00b7s devront \u00eatre embauch\u00e9\u00b7e\u00b7s<\/a> chaque ann\u00e9e au cours des cinq prochaines ann\u00e9es.<\/p>\n<p>Afin de favoriser la croissance du secteur, Emploi et D\u00e9veloppement social Canada a r\u00e9cemment mis sur pied le <a href=\"https:\/\/www.canada.ca\/fr\/emploi-developpement-social\/programmes\/programme-service-apprentissage.html\">Service d\u2019apprentissage<\/a> pour aider les petites et moyennes entreprises (499 employ\u00e9\u00b7e\u00b7s ou moins) \u00e0 embaucher des apprenti\u00b7e\u00b7s de premi\u00e8re ann\u00e9e dans 39\u00a0m\u00e9tiers Sceau rouge. Il s\u2019agit notamment d\u2019\u00e9lectricien\u00b7ne\u00b7s industriel\u00b7le\u00b7s et en construction, de monteur\u00b7euse\u00b7s de lignes \u00e9lectriques, des chaudronnier\u00b7\u00e8re\u00b7s, des monteur\u00b7euse\u00b7s d\u2019appareils de chauffage, des monteur\u00b7euse\u00b7s d\u2019installations au gaz, de soudeur\u00b7euse\u00b7s, de machinistes, d\u2019outilleur\u00b7euse\u00b7s-ajusteur\u00b7euse\u00b7s et de m\u00e9canicien\u00b7ne\u00b7s industriel\u00b7le\u00b7s (de chantier).<\/p>\n<p>Les investissements dans les possibilit\u00e9s d\u2019apprentissage int\u00e9gr\u00e9 au travail, sous la forme d\u2019un soutien financier aux employeur\u00b7euse\u00b7s, constituent certainement une incitation \u00e0 diversifier leur bassin de talents. Toutefois, des aides suppl\u00e9mentaires sont \u00e9galement n\u00e9cessaires pour am\u00e9liorer la participation des groupes dignes d\u2019\u00e9quit\u00e9 \u00e0 la formation et aux carri\u00e8res dans les m\u00e9tiers qualifi\u00e9s et pour garantir leur maintien en poste. Parmi les exemples d\u2019initiatives de ce type, mises en \u0153uvre par RHIEC en tant que l\u2019un des prestataires du Service d\u2019apprentissage, figurent la formation en mati\u00e8re d\u2019\u00c9DI pour les employeur\u00b7euse\u00b7s, la formation sur le perfectionnement des comp\u00e9tences professionnelles pour les participant\u00b7e\u00b7s (ax\u00e9e sur la communication, le leadership et la r\u00e9solution de probl\u00e8mes, entre autres), le mentorat et les possibilit\u00e9s de collaboration intersectorielle entre les employeur\u00b7euse\u00b7s, les \u00e9ducateur\u00b7rice\u00b7s, les organisations syndicales, le gouvernement, les prestataires de services, et les apprenti\u00b7e\u00b7s actuel\u00b7le\u00b7s et potentiel\u00b7le\u00b7s.<\/p>\n<p>Les enjeux complexes, tels que les d\u00e9fis actuels du march\u00e9 du travail, n\u00e9cessitent des solutions globales.
